Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 75 gms doosra chilly zeera cookies,powdered


  • 1 cups hung curd


  • 1/2 cups grated cottage cheese


  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies


  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic


  • 1 pinch sugar


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coraiander


  • 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves


  • 1 tsp fennel seeds powder


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 2 tbsp roasted chana dal powder


  • 2 tsp corn meal (makki ka aata)


  • 1/2 litre oil for deep frying


  • 5 nos ice-cream sticks

Directions

  • Combine the curd, cookies powder, cottage cheese, green chillies, garlic, sugar, salt, coriander, mint leaves and fennel seeds powder in a bowl and mix very well.
  • Keep aside this mixture .
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add the chana dal powder, ready curd mixture and cornmeal in it.
  • Cook it till the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan. It will look like a dough.
  • At this stage switch off the flame and Keep aside the mixture to cool completely .
  • When mixture cools down Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into pop shape on sticks .
  • Heat the oil in a pan and deep-fry the pops till they are golden brown in colour from all sides.
  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with sauce of your choice.
  • Yummy pops are ready to Enjoy.
