  • 2 cups all purpose flour,extra for dusting

  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cups milk

  • 2 tbsp melted butter,cooled

  • 1/8 tsp nut meg

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 nos egg,beaten

  • 1 litre oil

  • 3 nos unibic butter cookies

  • 30 gms condensed milk

  • 2 tbsp melted chocolate


  • Sift flour into a large bowl. Resift flour with sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg to combine.
  • Crumble butter into flour mixture with your fingers, then stir in milk and egg.
  • With floured hands, lightly work dough just to moisten.
  • Knead two or three times so the dough comes together. Pat dough with your fingertips into 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Dip either a doughnut cutter or two biscuit cutters in flour.Rework the leftover for new ones.
  • Heat oil in deep fryer approx 360 F
  • Use a spoon to lower doughnuts into hot oil, cooking them 2 to 3 at a time and allowing the oil to return to temperature between batches. Fry on the first side for 2 minutes, flip, and fry the remaining side an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until evenly browned. Drain on prepared paper towels.
  • Topping:Mix Condensed Milk along with crushed Butter Cookies.
  • Top the doughnuts with this topping and pour melted chocolate over the top to garnish.
