Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour


  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar


  • 1 bowls unibic choco chip cookies/choco nut cookies


  • 1 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1 1/2 cups butter milk


  • 2 nos eggs


  • 1 tsp vanilla


  • 1 cups powdered sugar


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 10-12 nos cherries


  • 1 cups whipped cream


  • 1 tsp baking soda

Directions

  • Crush or gently break biscuit to powder form.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Sift or mix together flour,biscuit powder,baking soda, and 1 teaspoon salt.
  • Sift until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and beat well, add vanilla.
  • Add flour mixture, alternating with milk, beat until combined.
  • Pour into 2 cake pans.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Cut each layer in half, horizontally making four layers total.
  • In a separate bowl whip the cream to stiff peaks, then beat in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Add sugar powder and pinch of salt beat again.
  • Spread first layer of cake with 1/3 of the filling top with 1/3 of the cream repeat with remaining layers.
  • Frost top and sides of cake.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate curls made by using a potato peeler on semisweet baking chocolate
  • Place some cherries on top to garnish.
