SPICY BISCUIT KOFTA IN BEETROOT GRAVY

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 nos unibic doosra jeera cookies pack


  • 2 tbsp grated cottage cheese


  • 2 tbsp mawa


  • 2 tbsp onion paste


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 5 nos chopped green chilies


  • 2 tbsp tomato puree


  • 2 tbsp pure ghee


  • 2 tsp salt

Directions

  • Take powdered biscuits in a bowl and add cottage cheese, garam masala, green chillies, corriander powder, red chilly powder and salt. Mix it well. Now add 1 tablespoon mawa to the mixture and make a fine dough. Make small kofta balls out of it.
  • Take a wok and heat pure ghee and crackle cumin seeds then add green chillies, onion paste, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, corriander powder, red chilly powder and fry them well. Then add tomato puree and cover it and cook for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes remove the cover and add little water to make a fine gravy. And cover,let it cook again for 10 minutes.
  • Once cooked and ready to be served. Add the koftas while serving and garnish it with cream and corriander.
  • Enjoy with your favorite bread.
