Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 9 nos crabs


  • 2 cups shallots,sliced


  • 4 tbsp coconut oil


  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds


  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds


  • 10 nos garlic


  • 1 inch ginger piece


  • 1 tsp crushed paneer


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 sprig curry leaves


  • 3 nos kudampuly(pot tamarind)


  • 1/2 cups coconut slices

Directions

  • Roast coriander & fennel keep aside. Soak Kudampuly in water. Grind ginger , garlic with roasted coriander & fennel. Heat coconut oil in a pan, sauté shallots till pale brown. Add coconut slices & sauté. Add grind paste and sauté well. Add pepper, turmeric and red chilly. Sauté well. Add crab, Kudampuly with water, salt, Curry leaves. Stir well , cover and cook till gravy coats in crab. Serve with boiled rice.

  • Heat Coconut Oil In A Pan, Sauté Shallots Till Pale Brown. Add Coconut Slices & Sauté.
  • Add Grind Paste And Sauté Well. Add Pepper, Turmeric And Red Chilly. Sauté Well.
  • Add Crab, Kudampuly With Water, Salt, Curry Leaves. Stir Well , Cover And Cook Till Gravy Coats In Crab.
  • Serve With Boiled Rice.
