Roast coriander & fennel keep aside. Soak Kudampuly in water. Grind ginger , garlic with roasted coriander & fennel. Heat coconut oil in a pan, sauté shallots till pale brown. Add coconut slices & sauté. Add grind paste and sauté well. Add pepper, turmeric and red chilly. Sauté well. Add crab, Kudampuly with water, salt, Curry leaves. Stir well , cover and cook till gravy coats in crab. Serve with boiled rice.
