Preheat oven at 180° C and grease a loaf tin with butter and line with a parchment paper and keep aside.
Heat a pan melt the butter and butter and the dark chocolate.
Add powdered brown sugar to it and mix it well.
Next add 1 egg and mix till well combined.
At last add all purpose flour mix well and form a smooth lump free batter.
Pour the brownie batter in a greased loaf tin and bake at 175°C for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the butter cake batter.
In a bowl take butter which should be at room temperature. Add powdered sugar and beat till smooth and creamy.
Fold in sifted flour and baking powder alternately add in milk and mix well to form a smooth batter.
Spread the prepared batter carefully over the brownie, bake at 170°C for 30-35 minutes.
Insert a toothpick to check the cake is completely baked or not.
Let the cake cool down, cut in slices and enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
