Unibic Mango Mousse (eggless)

  • 10 nos unibic oatmeal digestive cookies

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 nos medium size mangoes, chopped

  • 1/2 cups thick whipped cream

  • 2 tbsp vanilla flavoured thick cooked custard

  • 1 tbsp honey - add more or less for your preferred sweetness

  • 1 tbsp for the garnish:any fruit preserve or chocolates or chocolate syrup.

  • 2 tbsp mango chunks


  • Melt the unsalted butter and mix it well with the crushed or powdered unibic cookies
  • Spread it as the base of mousse in the serving glasses.
  • Press gently with the back of a spoon and chill for one hour.
  • Meanwhile in a blender, add the mangoes, custard and honey and blend until smooth.
  • Now add and fold in the whipped cream until smooth and mixed evenly.
  • Pour it over the biscuit base of each serving glass equally.
  • Chill the mousse to set, at least  for 2 hours.
  • Garnish the mango mousse with chocolate syrup or chopped dry fruits or any fruit preserve and enjoy endlessly.
