Make the tempering or tadka and keep aside.
Take semolina and cookie flour /rice flour in a bowl, add tomato, onion, green chilli, grated carrot, ,french beans,coriander, curd and salt and the tempering.
Add water gradually to make a lump free batter, the batter should neither be too thick nor too runny but it should be more towards thicker side .
Cover and keep the batter aside for 10-15 minutes.
Again mix the batter properly, if you feel the batter has thickened then add little water.
Mix baking soda and fruit salt in the batter, just before making appe.
The batter will fluff slightly and is ready to make appe.
Heat the appe pan on high flame when the mould becomes hot properly then simmer the flame and grease the mould with the oil fill the batter in the holes with a spoon.
Cover the appe pan with a lid and cook it on low flame for 1-2 mins or only till the batter rises.
Then flip appe with the help of spoon so that they will be cooked from the other side also.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, until appe become golden brown from all the sides.
Remove them in a plate
Hot appe are ready to serve with tomato sauce or any type of chutney of your choice.
