SURPRISE RASAGULLA (Leftover Rice Rasagulla)

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Cooked rice (I used leftover cooked rice) 2 cups


  • Unibic's Ripple cookies packet 1 nos


  • Sugar 1 1/2 cups


  • Milk powder 1 tsp


  • Cornflour 1 tsp


  • All purpose flour 1 tsp


  • Water 2 1/2 cups

Directions

  • Grind cooked rice in a mixer till fine paste.
  • Break UNIBIC'S Ripple cookies into pieces.
  • Add milk powder, all purpose flour and cornflour to the rice mixture. Knead well for 15mts.
  • Add water in a heavy bottom pan, mix sugar and make a sugar syrup (thin syrup) and let it boil.
  • Make small balls out of the well kneaded dough.Insert the broken UNIBIC'S Ripple cookies inside as a surprise.
  • Drop one by one to the sugar syrup and let it boil for 15 minutes or until it double in size.
  • Press the rasagulla and if it regain's it's original fluffiness back it's done.
  • Remove from stove and trasfer in a serving dish and give a surprise to all...
  • Garnish it with UNIBIC'S Ripple cookies.
