Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 cups all purpose flour


  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder


  • 1 cups powder sugar


  • 2 tsp chocolate essence


  • 3 nos eggs beaten


  • 1/2 cups melted butter


  • 3-4 tsp milk (if required)


  • 1 cups whipped cream


  • 30 gms butter


  • 1/2 cups icing sugar


  • 1 tsp mixed fruit jam (optional)


  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions

  • Preheat the oven for 10 minutes in 180degrees
  • In a mixing bowl,mix all the dry ingredients together (all purpose flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, sugar)
  • In another bowl, mix the beaten eggs with the melted butter, chocolate essence.
  • Now mix both the dry and wet ingredients together. Add little milk if necessary.
  • Grease some cup cake mounds with butter and fill them half with the cake batter.
  • Place a set of them in the oven and microwave for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes your cup cakes will be ready. Let them cool completely in a rack.
  • Now take the butter and beat it with a beater along with the icing sugar. Mix the whipped cream gently with beaten butter.
  • Fill the cream frosting in a piping bag and decorate the cup cakes as you like.
  • I added a drop of mixed fruit jam over them just to decorate. Kids will definitely enjoy them as well as we.
  • For the green colour frosting I add a pinch of green food colour separately. And the white was the normal mixture of whipped cream, butter and icing sugar.
