Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups all purpose flour


  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder


  • 2 nos eggs


  • 1/2 cups powder sugar


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1/4 cups melted butter


  • 1 tsp chocolate essence


  • 1/2 cups melted chocolates


  • 5-6 nos cherry fruit


  • 2 tsp crushed nuts

Directions

  • Preheat the oven for 10 minutes in 180 degree C
  • In a mixing bowl mix all purpose flour, powder sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt by sieving.
  • In another bowl beat the eggs and then mix the butter and essence in it.
  • Now mix together the dry ingredients and wet ingredients gently and so that no lumps forms.
  • Grease a baking pan with butter and dust some all purpose flour in it.
  • Now Pour the cake batter in it and microwave it for 10-15 minutes in 240 degrees. The temperature may vary in different ovens. May require less or more time to bake. Check the cake after 10 minutes by inserting a tooth pick if it comes out clean and then your cake is ready.
  • Let it cool in a rack for some time.
  • Now melt a cup of dairy milk chocolate in a double bowl heat. Put a bowl of water in heat and place another bowl with the chocolates over it and melt them.
  • Pour the melted chocolate along with the crushed nuts over the cake and with a spoon spread it. Place the cherries over it and serve.
