Ingredients

  • 1 nos small sized sweet potato steamed


  • 1/2 cups rice flour


  • 1/2 cups all purpose flour


  • 1/8 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/8 tsp salt


  • 1/2 cups warm water


  • 1 cups riped sweet mango pealed and diced


  • 1/8 tsp black pepper powder


  • 1/8 tsp salt


  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 nos unibic butter cookies packet


  • 5 nos unibic pista cookies


  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder

Directions

  • Steam the sweet potato and cook it well.
  • For the filling
  • mix well 1 table spoon of mashed sweet potato and powdered pista cookies and nutmeg powder
  • Preparing the dough for the seashell shaped dumpling- add enough water to rice flour, all pourpose flour to make a smooth dough. Add salt, cumin seeds and knead well to make a smooth dough.
  • Take a small portion ofthe dough ( small lemon size) and keep the cookies filling inside and make it into the shape of a seashell. Use fork to make the markings.
  • steam the dumplings until it is done.
  • for the dip, blend the mango, 2 tablespoon of sweet potato, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper along with the powdered butter cookies. Blend well to get a smooth consistency. sweet potato waa used to get the color of crab shell.
  • for the sand, powder the remaining butter cookies.
  • serve with the dip and powdered cookies.
