Ingredients

Serves : 16
  • 1/2 cups for 1 brownie layer:unsalted butter


  • 150 gms dark chocolate


  • 1 cups granulated sugar


  • 2 nos large eggs


  • 2 tsp vanilla extract


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 2/3 cups all purpose flour


  • 2/3 cups for 1 cheesecake layer:cream cheese softened


  • 1/3 cups granulated sugar


  • 1 nos egg


  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven at 350F
  • Grease an 8×8 inch pan
  • In a large microwave safe bowl heat butter and chocolate together in 30 seconds bursts
  • Whisk well until all melted
  • Allow the mixture to cool for 3-5 minutes
  • Now add in sugar,eggs, vanilla and salt
  • Gently fold in the flour
  • Reserve about 1/2cup batter and pour the remaining batter into the prepared tin
  • To make the cheesecake layer, in a large bowl with the help of egg beater, beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy
  • Add in sugar and eggs and beat until no lump remains
  • Pour the creamcheese layer over the brownie layer
  • With a teaspoon drop the dollops of reserved brownie layer
  • Create swirls with the help of a knife
  • Bake for 30 minutes until the top is almost set.
  • Allow to cool completely at room temperature
  • Cut into squares and serve.
  • I cut mine into 16 pieces
