Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 cups whole wheat flour


  • 1/4 cups orange marmalade


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 1 tsp orange zest


  • 1/8 cups candied orange


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 2 nos eggs


  • 3/4 cups organic raw sugar


  • 1/4 cups oil


  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Sieve the wheat flour with baking powder, and salt for 5-6 times.
  • Mix the orange marmalade in hot water and keep aside and use when it is warm.
  • Beat the eggs for 5 minutes till it double in volume.
  • Add sugar and beat for another 5 minutes till light and fluffy.
  • Add Orange zest, marmalade and water mixture and mix well.
  • Add oil, mix.
  • Add the flour mixture slowly and mix well until it's properly incorporated. Don't over mix.
  • Add candied orange segments and mix.
  • Pour it into a greased baking dish. On the top put rest of the candied oranges.
  • Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
