Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Unibic Choco Ripple Biscuits 10 nos

  • Ragi flour 1/2 cups

  • Flax seeds 2 tsp

  • Dry roasted sesame seeds 2 tsp

  • For Sugar Syrup : Sugar 1 cups

  • Water 1/4 cups

  • Ghee 1 tsp

Directions

    In a dry mixie jar , prepare a coarse powder of unibic choco ripple biscuits.

    Heat a pan over a medium flame. Dry roast the ragi flour until it turns light brown in color.

    Now dry roast the flax seeds and grind it into a fine powder.Keep it aside.

    Mix well the ragi flour, flax seeds powder and unibic biscuit powder.

    In the meanwhile, prepare the sugar syrup. Add sugar to a hot pan. Pour little quantity of water to it and stir continuously to form one string consistency.

    Add the prepared powdered mix to it and stir it well over a low flame. Turn off the flame after 2 mins.

    Then grease a plate with butter and transfer the prepared mix over the greased plate.

    Spread it evenly and sprinkle the roasted sesame seeds over it. Ensure that the thickness is around 1/3 inch.

    Make 2 inch apart parallel horizontal and vertical cuts with the help of a knife while the spread is hot.

    Once it attains room temperature , chill it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

    After half an hour, carefully separate the cut-pieces and enjoy the instant and healthy Ragi-Unibic Chikki snack.
