Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 10 nos unibic choco ripple biscuits


  • 1/2 cups ragi flour


  • 2 tsp flax seeds


  • 2 tsp dry roasted sesame seeds


  • 1 cups for sugar syrup : sugar


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 1 tsp ghee

Directions

  • In a dry mixie jar , prepare a coarse powder of unibic choco ripple biscuits.
  • Heat a pan over a medium flame. Dry roast the ragi flour until it turns light brown in color.
  • Now dry roast the flax seeds and grind it into a fine powder.Keep it aside.
  • Mix well the ragi flour, flax seeds powder and unibic biscuit powder.
  • In the meanwhile, prepare the sugar syrup. Add sugar to a hot pan. Pour little quantity of water to it and stir continuously to form one string consistency.
  • Add the prepared powdered mix to it and stir it well over a low flame. Turn off the flame after 2 mins.
  • Then grease a plate with butter and transfer the prepared mix over the greased plate.
  • Spread it evenly and sprinkle the roasted sesame seeds over it. Ensure that the thickness is around 1/3 inch.
  • Make 2 inch apart parallel horizontal and vertical cuts with the help of a knife while the spread is hot.
  • Once it attains room temperature , chill it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • After half an hour, carefully separate the cut-pieces and enjoy the instant and healthy Ragi-Unibic Chikki snack.
