For the chocolate Sponge: Egg 6 nos
Sugar 180 gms
Refined Flour 150 gms
Cocoa Powder 30 gms
Vanilla Essence 3 ml
For the assemble cake: Rich cream ( Sweet) 500 gms
Coffee powder 5 gms
Coffee Sugar syrup 250 ml
Cherry ( for garnish) 8-10 nos
Method : To make the chocolate sponge :
Separate egg yolk and egg white.
Beat egg white with sugar until light and fluffy than egg yolk.
Add vanilla essence.
Now add flour and coco powder in egg batter.
Put mixture into cake tin.
Bake at 200 gegree for 25 minutes.
To Assemble the cake:
Whipped rich cream with coffee powder.( Coffee powder dissolved in hot water )
Keep refrigerated till required.
Slice the chocolate sponge horizontally into two equal part.
Sprinkle Sugar syrup sandwich together whippedcoffee cream .
Sprinkle sugar syrup on the top layer.
Cover the top with coffee whipped cream.
Garnish with whipped cream cherry and sugar sprinkles.
Chilled atleast 1 hrs.
