Ingredients

Serves 20

  • For the chocolate Sponge: Egg 6 nos

  • Sugar 180 gms

  • Refined Flour 150 gms

  • Cocoa Powder 30 gms

  • Vanilla Essence 3 ml

  • For the assemble cake: Rich cream ( Sweet) 500 gms

  • Coffee powder 5 gms

  • Coffee Sugar syrup 250 ml

  • Cherry ( for garnish) 8-10 nos

Directions

    Method : To make the chocolate sponge :

    Separate egg yolk and egg white.

  • 03

    Beat egg white with sugar until light and fluffy than egg yolk.

    Add vanilla essence.

  • 05

    Now add flour and coco powder in egg batter.

    Put mixture into cake tin.

    Bake at 200 gegree for 25 minutes.

    To Assemble the cake:

    Whipped rich cream with coffee powder.( Coffee powder dissolved in hot water )

    Keep refrigerated till required.

    Slice the chocolate sponge horizontally‚Äč into two equal part.

    Sprinkle Sugar syrup sandwich together whippedcoffee cream .

  • 13

    Sprinkle sugar syrup on the top layer.

  • 14

    Cover the top with coffee whipped cream.

  • 15

    Garnish with whipped cream cherry and sugar sprinkles.

  • 16

    Chilled atleast 1 hrs.
