Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 3 nos egg ,seperated


  • 1/2 cups flour


  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  • 1/8 tsp salt


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla


  • 1 nos lime zest`


  • 1/4 tsp vinegar


  • 1 cups for frosting, whipping cream


  • 1 1/2 tsp gelatin


  • 1/4 cups icing sugar


  • 4 tsp cold water


  • 1 tsp vanilla


  • 1 cups for garnish, fruits cut (peach, pineapple, grapes, cherry)

Directions

  • Grease bottom of pan with butter and place butter paper on top.
  • Whisk together egg yolks, 1/4 cup sugar, till it turns light yellow in colour.
  • Add vanilla essence and lime zest and whisk again.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Whisk egg whites and vinegar together.
  • Then add the remaining sugar to it.
  • Fold in the egg whites to the egg yolk mixture.
  • Pour it into the greased pan
  • Bake at 200 °C for 25min
  • For frosting, add gelatin to cold water and keep aside for one min
  • Microwave gelatin mix for one min
  • Pour it into whipping cream, sugar and vanilla while beating continously.
  • Beat till stiff peaks form.
  • Apply on the cake and pipe at the sides.
  • Garnish with cut fruits and serve.
