Ingredients

  • 1 cups suji


  • 1/3 cups milk


  • 3 tbsp curd


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/4 cups oil


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 3 tbsp tutti fruitti

Directions

  • Grease a cake pan and keep aside. Preheat oven at 180° for 10 mins.
  • In a bowl add the curd and baking soda and mix well till smooth. Keep aside.
  • Heat the milk but do not bring to boil. Remove from heat.
  • Add the hot milk in a mixing bowl. Add sugar and suji, stir and mix well. Let it stand for 5-10 mins.
  • Add the curd, baking powder and oil to the suji milk mixture and fold them gently and incorporate them well.
  • Dust the tutti fruitti with 1/2 tsp of flour. Add them to the mixture and fold gently. Garnish with tutti fruitti.
  • Bake for 35-40 mins. A tooth pick inserted should come out clean.
  • Remove from oven and let it stand for cool down and invert. Cut and serve.
