Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Bread Vadaunibic doosra chilli butter cookies 5 nos

  • Brown bread Slices 4 nos

  • Grated Carrots(1 medium) 1/4 cups

  • Finely chopped onions (1 medium) 1/4 cups

  • Red chilli powder optional 1/2 tsp

  • Green Chili ,chopped 1 nos

  • Garam Masala 1/2 tsp

  • Salt or as per the taste 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander Leaves-finely chopped 2 tbsp

  • Grated Ginger 1/4 tsp

  • Rice Flour/Corn Flour 1 tbsp

Directions

    Grind the unibic cookies in a grinder

  • 02

    Tear off the bread slices to pieces and add them to a mixing bowl.

    Add unibic cookies powder, ginger, carrots, onions, coriander leaves, salt, green chilli, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix well.

    Add 1 to 2 tbsp water if needed and add rice flour and make a dough.

    Heat oil in a wok for frying. Divide the mixture into 6 parts and make balls.

    Flatten them gently and make a medium sized patty.

  • 07

    Use your first finger and thumb to make a hole in the centre.

    Drop these in batches of 4 in hot oil and fry on a medium heat.

    Fry them turning often and flipping to both the sides.

  • 10

    When bread vada turns golden, remove them to an absorbent paper.

  • 11

    Serve hot with mint coriander chutney and masala tea.
