Sieve the flour and all the dry ingredients add in a large bowl and keep aside .
Grease the cake tin using oil , dust it with flour . Chop walnuts and add 1/2 of them in the flour mix . Keep the rest aside .
Preheat the oven 180°C for 10 minutes .
In a large bowl mix all the wet ingredients and gently fold in the flour mix into the bowl and keep mixing with a spatula . Add 1tablespoons of extra milk if required , to get the thick batter consistency . Mix only till all the ingredients gets mixed without any lumps .
Pour it into the greased cake tin , tap and level it . Add the remaining chopped walnuts on top .
Place the cake tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes . Prick it with a toothpick inserted right in the clean then cake is ready .
Take it out and let it cool and slowly de - mould it .
