Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cups all purpose flour


  • 2 tbsp milk powder


  • 3/4 cups grated carrot


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar


  • 1/4 cups milk


  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 3-4 tbsp walnuts,chopped


  • 1/4 cups odorless oil

Directions

  • sieve flour and milk powder, keep aside
  • in a mixing bowl mix curd, sugar, baking powder and soda, leave this mixture for 5 minutes
  • then add cinamon powder and mix well
  • add dry mixture and milk alternatively, keep mixing
  • now add oil and mix well
  • finally fold in carrots and 2 tbsp of walnuts
  • the batter should be smooth flowing batter
  • pour the batter into a greased tin and sprinkle the remaining walnuts on the top
  • tap down the tin once and place the tin in the preheated oven and bake at 180c for 30 minutes
  • once done, remove from the oven and cool completely
  • slice it and serve or store in an air tight container
