Ingredients

Serves 8

  • All Purpose Flour 1 1/2 cups

  • Cocoa Powder 1/2 cups

  • Baking powder 1 tsp

  • Baking Soda 1/2 tsp

  • Vanilla Extract 1 tsp

  • Sugar 3/4 cups

  • Eggs 3 nos

  • Milk 200 ml

  • Butter 100 gms

  • Red Color as required 3-4 drop

  • Softened Cream Cheese 150 gms

  • Softened butter 1/2 cups

  • Castor Sugar or Powdered Sugar 70 gms

  • Vanilla Extract 1 tsp

Directions

    Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C

    In a bowl , mix together your dry ingredients .

    In another bowl , whisk together your eggs , sugar , vanilla extract , oil and milk .

    Gradually , add in your dry ingredients to the wet and whisk well to avoid formation of lumps .

    Do this till you have used up your entire flour mixture .

    In a muffin tin lined with liners , add in a scoopful of this batter into each section .

    Bake this for about 25-30 mins or till done .

    Take them out and set aside to cool completely .

    Meanwhile , in a large bowl , whisk in your cream cheese along with the butter , sugar and vanilla extract .

    Let this cool a little as well .

    Use this as a frosting to decorate your muffins .
