Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cups suji(rava)


  • 1 cups moong sprouts


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 nos chopped green chilly


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 10 nos curry leaves


  • 6 nos peeled garlic cloves


  • 1/2 tsp eno


  • 1/2 cups water

Directions

  • First mix suji(rava) with curd & water. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Now take sprouts, garlic and green chilly in a jar and blend by adding 1 teaspoon of water.
  • Keep ready sprouts paste aside.
  • Now heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add curry leaves & switch off the flame.
  • Now add sprouts paste and curry leaves oil in suji mixture.Mix nicely.
  • Add salt , black pepper and eno. Mix again.
  • Now grease idly moulds and quickly pour suji mixture till 2/3 of each mould.
  • Steam in microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Check with toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean then idlis are ready.
  • Demould and serve yummy, healthy and hot idlis with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice.
