Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Suji(rava) 1 cups

  • Moong Sprouts 1 cups

  • Curd 1/2 cups

  • Oil 1 tbsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Chopped Green Chilly 1 nos

  • Black Pepper 1/2 tsp

  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp

  • Curry Leaves 10 nos

  • Peeled Garlic Cloves 6 nos

  • Eno 1/2 tsp

  • Water 1/2 cups

    First mix suji(rava) with curd & water. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

    Now take sprouts, garlic and green chilly in a jar and blend by adding 1 teaspoon of water.

    Keep ready sprouts paste aside.

  • 04

    Now heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add curry leaves & switch off the flame.

    Now add sprouts paste and curry leaves oil in suji mixture.Mix nicely.

    Add salt , black pepper and eno. Mix again.

    Now grease idly moulds and quickly pour suji mixture till 2/3 of each mould.

    Steam in microwave for 3 minutes.

    Check with toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean then idlis are ready.

    Demould and serve yummy, healthy and hot idlis with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice.
