Garlic cloves 6 nos
Red Chili 10 nos
tomato 8 nos
Tamarind 1/4 inch
Salt to Taste 3/4 tbsp
Oil (Gingelly Oil) 1 cups
Soak garlic, red chilli and tamarind in hot water. Close it with a lid and keep it aside .To be soaked for half an hour prior.
Chop Tomatoes and grind them smooth. Transfer them to a another vessel and remove the pieces which is not grinded.
Meanwhile heat up a pan. Add these to the food processor and to this add the soaked red chilli, garlic and tamarind.
Make smooth paste if it , then mix both.
o the hot pan add the grinded paste and add 3/4 cup of water , mix it and Leave it in low flame .
Wait for it to reduce to 1/2 of the volume it was, by now add oil.Mix and again leave in low flame.
Once you find the oil saperating add a pinch of sugar and remove off flame.
Cool it and transfer to a container.This can be refrigerated for 1 week. Goes good with dosa and idly.
