BUTTER BEANS / MOCHAI KOTTAI GARLIC DOSAI

Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cups brown rice


  • 1 cups butter beans/mochai


  • 1 tbsp pepper


  • 1 tsp methi seeds


  • 10 nos garlic cloves


  • 10 nos small onions


  • 1 inch ginger piece


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 50 gms gingelly oil

Directions

  • Wash and Soak butter bean and brown rice together with methi seeds, pepper, and cumin seeds for  2 to 3 hours
  • Grind it with garlic, small onions and ginger to a fine paste.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Heat a dosa tawa and pour a ladle full of batter and spread it in circular motion from inside.
  • Drizzle a tsp of oil around the edges of dosa and cook for few seconds and flip over the other side and cook for a minute. 
  • Remove dosa from the pan and serve hot with , idli powder with gingelly oil,sambar or chutney as you wish.
  • Yummy butter beans / mochai dosas are ready to make your breakfast a healthier one
