Firstly roast the almonds and cashews separately in a pan till they get slightly browned.
In a dry grinder add the chopped dates, figs, raisins, almonds, desiccated coconut, cinnamon powder, elaichi/cardamom powder and roasted cashews.
Grind to a roughly coarse mixture and spread on a tray or plate or take the mixture in a bowl.
Make small balls with your hands and the dry fruit ladoos are ready.
Serve the dry fruits laddoo immediately or store in an air tight container and refrigerate.
My tip Dry fruit laddoos stay good for 2 weeks so very apt for gifting purpose.
