Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cups dates,chopped


  • 2-3 tbsp almonds/badam


  • 1 tbsp raisins


  • 2 tbsp cashews


  • 2 tsp poppy seeds /posto dana


  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon powder


  • 8-9 nos whole dry figs chopped


  • 1-2 tbsp desiccated coconut


  • 2 nos green cardamoms,powdered

Directions

  • Firstly roast the almonds and cashews separately in a pan till they get slightly browned.
  • In a dry grinder add the chopped dates, figs, raisins, almonds, desiccated coconut, cinnamon powder, elaichi/cardamom powder and roasted cashews.
  • Grind to a roughly coarse mixture and spread on a tray or plate or take the mixture in a bowl.
  • Make small balls with your hands and the dry fruit ladoos are ready.
  • Serve the dry fruits laddoo immediately or store in an air tight container and refrigerate.
  • My tip Dry fruit laddoos stay good for 2 weeks so very apt for gifting purpose.
