Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 1/2 cups maida


  • 2 tbsp vanilla flavored custard powder


  • 1/2 cups oil


  • 3/4 cups powdered sugar


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 2 tbsp milk

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl add the milk, oil and sugar and let sugar dissolves completely.
  • Sieve the maida, custard powder and baking powder and mix well them.
  • Add them to the milk mixture and fold gently to make a smooth better.
  • Preheat the oven to 180'C for 10 minutes. Grease the cake mould with oil. Pour the better into it and bake the cake for 30- 35 mins. Mine was done in 30 mins. Start checking from 30 mins onward. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool and de - mould.
  • Decorate with some colourful saunf and james.
  • Cut and serve.
