Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 bowls for akki roti: rice flour


  • 500 ml water


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp oil


  • 1 cups chutney:coconut,shredded


  • 1/2 cups roasted gram


  • 5-6 nos garlic pods


  • 1/4 cups coriander leaves


  • 1/4 tsp tamarind


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/4 cups water

Directions

  • For Akki roti: In a cooking vessel add water, salt & oil
  • When it starts to boil add in rice flour cover it leaves some space to steam
  • After 10 mins switch off the flame
  • Once it get cools mix the flour with ur hands & make chapathi size balls
  • Take a plastic sheet grease it with some oil
  • Take one rice ball & flatten with ur hands in round shape
  • Make thin rotis & place it on a hot griddle
  • Apply oil or butter & cook both the sides
  • Chutney:
  • Take a mixi jar & add all the ingredients listed under chutney
  • Now grind it to a smooth paste
  • Adjust salt & water
  • Now serve akki roti with coconut chutney
