Ingredients

Serves 4

  • For Akki Roti: Rice flour 1 bowls

  • Water 500 ml

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Oil 2 tsp

  • Chutney:Coconut,shredded 1 cups

  • Roasted Gram 1/2 cups

  • Garlic Pods 5-6 nos

  • Coriander Leaves 1/4 cups

  • Tamarind 1/4 tsp

  • Salt 1/2 tsp

  • Water 1/4 cups

Directions

    For Akki roti: In a cooking vessel add water, salt & oil

  • 02

    When it starts to boil add in rice flour cover it leaves some space to steam

  • 03

    After 10 mins switch off the flame

  • 04

    Once it get cools mix the flour with ur hands & make chapathi size balls

  • 05

    Take a plastic sheet grease it with some oil

  • 06

    Take one rice ball & flatten with ur hands in round shape

  • 07

    Make thin rotis & place it on a hot griddle

  • 08

    Apply oil or butter & cook both the sides

    Chutney:

    Take a mixi jar & add all the ingredients listed under chutney

    Now grind it to a smooth paste

    Adjust salt & water

  • 13

    Now serve akki roti with coconut chutney
