Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Moth beans or matki beans 1/2 cups

  • Carrots finely chopped 1/4 cups

  • Green capsicum finely chopped 1/4 cups

  • Onion finely chopped 1/4 cups

  • Asafoetida 1 pinch

  • Chaat masala powder 1 tsp

  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander leaves 7-8 sprig

  • Green chilli small,finely chopped 1 nos

  • Juice of limes 1-2 nos

  • FOR CANAPES:wheat flour 1/2 cup 1/2 cups

  • Oregano crushed 1 tsp

  • Salt 1/2 tsp

  • Oil for shortening and little more oil for greasing muffin pan for canapes 2 tsp

    Soak matki beans overnight or for 7 to 8 hours

  • 02

    Pressure cook for one whistle or boil in a pot alongwith salt, turmeric and asafoetida and 1/2 tablespoon oil

  • 03

    Fluff up the beans for the heat to escape. The beans should be tender but not mushy. Each bean shoukd still be separate

    Now toss the beans with carrots, onions, capsicum, green chilli, chaat masala, black pepper and half tablespoon olive oil·,

    Garnish with chopped coriander leaves

    FOR CANAPES: Combine flour,oregsno , salt and oil and knead a tight dough

    Make equal size balls of the dough and roll into thin sheets

    Place the sheets in greased muffin moulds .

    Bake blind for 15 minutes

  • 10

    Cool canapes and fill them with sprouts salad

  • 11

    Serve at once
