Ingredients
Serves 6
Cake flour 1 1/2 cups
Eggs 3 nos
Milk 3 tbsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
Sugar 3/4 cups
Butter 3/4 cups
Crushed oreo biscuits 1/2 cups
Oreo frosting, Unsalted butter (at room temperature) 1/2 cups
Icing sugar 2 cups
Cream 3 tbsp
Vanilla extract (optional) 1 tsp
Oreo biscuits (powdered) 1/4 cups
Directions
Sieve the flour and baking powder, keep aside. Now fold in the egg mixture and flour mix into the butter mixture in 2 parts, that is add half the egg mixture first and then add the flour mixture, followed by egg mix and then flour mix.
Whisk the butter and sugar till very fluffy. Make a mixture of eggs + milk + vanilla extract.
Now mix the crushed Oreo biscuits into the batter. Pour this mixture into 2 , 23 cm greased and lined cake tins and bake for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 165℃. Rest them.
Whisk the butter and add the icing sugar, whisk it well. I have used electric beater for the same.
Now add the vanilla extract and the cream, whisk till you have smooth consistency. Reserve some white frosting for the flowers and mix the Oreo biscuits powder to the rest.
Assembly : I have sprinkled some sugar water (any juice also can be used) on the cakes after de-moulding them so that they remain moist. Frost one of the cakes with Oreo frosting, place the other cake on top.
Cover the entire cake with frosting. Pipe the white frosting using a nozzle and piping bag, and stick some broken Oreo biscuits on the sides.
How to make cake flour : Take 1.5 cups of maida , remove 3 tbsp of the maida and add 3 tbsp of cornflour.
