Preheat oven to 150 degree c.
Grease and flour a 9 inches round baking cake pan.
Sieve salt, baking powder and maida together.
Take a mixing bowl add butter sugar and curd.
Mix until creamy and fluffy.
Add baking powder, salt and vanilla essence. mix well.
Add maida in cut and fold method. Add the nuts.
Pour the batter into dish.Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the pre heat oven.
Now the delicious vanilla cake is ready.Check by inserting a knife if it comes out clear it done.
