Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cups all purpose flour


  • 1 cups icing sugar


  • 1 cups vegetable oil/butter


  • 80 gms egg substitute


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence


  • 1 tbsp instant coffee powder


  • 1/2 cups milk


  • 1/4 cups warm water


  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream


  • 4 tbsp icing sugar


  • 15 nos kitkat


  • 5 nos gems packet


  • 1 tbsp coffee powder


  • 1/8 cups warm water

Directions

  • Preheat oven at 180°
  • Sieve dry ingredients like flour, baking powder and baking soda
  • Make a concoction of coffee powder and warm water n keep aside
  • Mix sugar n butter with blender
  • Add dry ingredients in small batches n blend together
  • Add milk to make batter of smooth consistency
  • Add coffee concoction and vanilla essence
  • Grease the cake mould with butter and flour. Pour the batter in mould and give it a light tap
  • Keep in oven for 40 minutes at 180°. Insert a toothpick in centre to check if its baked all way through
  • If toothpick comes clean,take out the cake an let it rest on rack untill it is at room temperature before unmoulding
  • For icing whip the heavy cream, add icing sugar in batches and vanilla essence
  • You can add coffee concoction in cream too to give coffee flavour
  • Whip the cream untill soft peaks are formed
  • Cut the cake in two equal parts horizontally and stack it one on another with whipped cream in between
  • Crumb coat all the cake n freeze for 10 minutes
  • Apply reaming icing on the cake n then stack the kitkat on the sides of the cake
  • Sprinkle gems on the cake to cover all the area
  • Enjoy
