Ingredients

  • 1 cups besan ( gram flour)


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tsp caraway sheed


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1/2 cups water as required


  • 1/2 cups finely chopped onion


  • 2 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 nos finely chopped green chili


  • 1 nos finely chopped tomato


  • 1/2 tsp cooking oil

Directions

  • Take a large mixing bowl, add besan and all ingredients, mix with the help of spoon from a smooth batter.
  • Now rest the batter for 5 minutes that besan absorbs water and turn light.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa, spread the batter in circles motion and apply 1/2 tsp oil and cook both sides till golden brown and crisp.
  • Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
