500 gm palak (spinach)
150 gm paneer (cottage cheese)
1 onion chopped
1 inch ginger piece
1 /2 tsp Garlic paste
2-3 tomatoes chopped
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp salt (as per taste)
3-4 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Wash spinach 2-3 times in water. Cut it. Add onion, tomatoes, green chillies, garlic paste & ginger piece.
Cook it on medium flame in pressure cooker until 2 whistles. Let it cool.
Once cooled. Grind it in Mixer grinder in smooth paste.
Cut paneer in square pieces. Shallow fry on Tawa until light brown.
For tempering heat butter in Kadhai. Add 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds. Once sauted. Add 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste. Red chilli powder & salt. Mix well. Saute for 1 minute. Add spinach puree. Mix properly. Add Paneer pieces. Cook it on slow flame for 4-5 minutes until puree get thickens.
Serve with butter Nan or Jeera rice.
