Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 250 gm Karela (bitter guard)

  • 2 tbsp Besan

  • 2 tbsp rice flour

  • 2 tbsp corn flour

  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

  • 1 tsp mango powder

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 200 ml oil (as required)

Directions

    Wash & cut thin round or oval slices. Sprinkle oil over it. Keep rest for 20 minutes. Squeeze karela slices. Squeeze excess water.

    Add all dry ingredients except oil in a bowl. Mix well.

    Add karela slices in flour mixture. Coat all properly.

  • 04

    Heat oil in a Kadhai. Deep fry them until golden brown & crispy.

  • 05

    Serve karela chips with apple juice.
