Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups washed and soaked whole lobiya / chawali


  • 1 nos finely chopped onion


  • 1 cups onion puree


  • 2 cups tomato puree


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp whole ground masala or garam masala


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 tsp coriander powder

Directions

  • Heat some oil in a pressure cook and crackle jeera and add bay leaf
  • Now add finely chopped onion and Ginger Garlic paste and Sauté till golden brown in colour
  • Now add onion and tomato puree and sauté well
  • Now add all spices, Turmeric powder, red chilly powder , coriander Powder and garam masala .. Sauté well till aroma comes
  • Now add soaked Lobiya / Chawali, 1 cup of water and salt to taste
  • Mix well and close the cooker lid
  • Pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistle and it's ready
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with steamed rice or Phulkaz
