Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups chopped fenugreek


  • 1/4 cups moong daal


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tsp cumin


  • 1 nos whole dried red chili


  • 1 tbsp garlic,chopped


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric


  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 nos onion chopped

Directions

  • In a sauce pan boil water
  • Add washed moong dal and cook it till dal gets soft
  • Once dal is cooked, strain it and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan add cumin, mustard, onions, garlic and red chili
  • And sautee' it till onions gets soft
  • Once Onions gets cooked add Fenugreek, Turmeric, Coriander powder, red chili powder and mix it
  • Allow methi to cook.
  • It will take about 2-3 minutes
  • Now add boiled dal and lemon juice
  • Give it a nice mix and
  • Add salt mix it and serve it
