Maida( all purpose flour) 2 cups
Clarified butter 3 tbsp
Nova milk 1/2 cups
Semolina 1/2 cups
Fresh grated Coconut 1/2 cups
Fine sugar 1 cups
Khushkhush 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder 1 tbsp
Nutmeg Powder 1/2 tsp
Kishmish and chopped almonds 1/2 cups
Heat the nonstick pan with 1 tbs of ghee and add rawa and saute the rawa till it turns golden or light brown in color and you start getting smell of rawa and ghee. add grated coconut n saute. Once the rawa is cooked remove it from the heat and transfer it in a bowl.
Add finer (caster )sugar, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder,khush khush and dry fruits; allow it to cool for few minutes.
Add 2 tbs of ghee in maida , pinch of salt , cold milk . Make a dough out of it.
Place puri in the mould and Place a portion of the stuffing in the hollow portion. Apply a little milk on the edges, close the mould and press firmly. Open the mould and remove extra dough.
Fry this Ghugrua in ghee. Enjoy and serve this dish for any festival like holi or diwali.
