Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 nos robusta/ banana


  • 3/4 cups whole wheat flour


  • 1/4 cups sugar


  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil


  • 2 nos eggs


  • 2 tbsp vanilla essence


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 3/4 tbsp baking powder

Directions

  • Mix egg with salt and beat it till fluffy (can use beater)
  • Add oil and powdered sugar,beat again
  • Add vanila essence, blend finally for 10 more seconds.keep aside
  • Mash bananas with a fork, gently mix it with the egg batter with the fork
  • Mix wheat flour and baking powder and filter it with a flour filter ,mix slowly to the egg batter, mix well with fork till the lumps disappears.
  • Grease the pan with butter ,place butter paper in it, fill the bowl with 3/4 th
  • Pre heat the cooker for 5 minutes
  • Add 5_10 tbsp of salt to the cooker base to cover evenly , ( this helps the purpose of oven , maintain steady heat)
  • Keep a plate over the salt, and cover the lid of cooker without whistle weight for 5 minutes.
  • Slowly open the cooker lid, carefully place the bowl of batter over the hot plate, take extreme care .close the lid .
  • Wait for 35 to 45 minutes , check the cake with a toothpick, if it comes out clean ,its ready
  • Take it out of cooker slowly , take the cake upside down.let it cool for 20 minutes.
  • Serve
