Chocolate Baklava With Caramel Syrup

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 8-9 nos phyllo sheets


  • 2 cups all purpose flour, extra flour for dusting


  • 5 tsp olive oil


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp vinegar


  • 3/4 cups warm water


  • 1/2 cups for dusting, corn flour


  • 1 cups for filling,mixed nuts


  • 1 cups maava


  • 1 cups milk chocolate


  • 1 cups for caramel syrup,sugar


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 2 tsp chopped pistachio for sprinkle over it


  • 1/2 cups butter to grease the sheets

Directions

  • Take all purpose flour in a bowl, add vinegar,oil,salt add warm water and knead a stiff dough
  • Brush some oil on top, cover it and keep aside it for atleast 10 minutes
  • After 10 min take dough knead once again and divide into 8 to 9 balls
  • Roll the balls into rotis, dust some flour over each roti,pile them on top of one another
  • Roll into a thin as you can but not break, large roti
  • Cut the sides to make square sheets
  • Grease 1 sheet with butter place filling of mixed nuts,maava and chocolate
  • Roll, brush some melted butter
  • Repeat the same steps, roll till the end
  • Place all stuffed rolls in greased tray, cut in the centre
  • Brush with butter, bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes
  • For Caramel syrup, Boil 1 cup sugar with 1/4 cup water, caramel syrup is ready
  • Drizzle Caramel Syrup over baked rolls, sprinkle chopped pistachio over it and serve
