Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Chana dal flour 1 cups

  • Rice flour 1 cups

  • Wheat flour 1/2 cups

  • Suji 1/2 cups

  • Ajwain 1 tsp

  • Sesame seeds 2-4 tsp

  • Oil for deep frying and little for kneading dough 1/2 litre

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp

  • Green chilly paste 1 tsp

  • Garlic paste 1 tsp

  • Salt to taste 1 1/2 tsp

Directions

    In a mixing bowl take all above mentioned flours

    Add spices , ajwain , sesame seeds and salt to taste

  • 03

    Add 2 tablespoon of warm oil in mixture . Mux Well and knead a soft dough using little water and keep aside covered for some time

    Keep sufficient oil for heating

  • 05

    Grease Chakali maker with little oil and put sufficient amount of dough and start making Chakali as per needed size

  • 06

    Prepare directly in hot oil or on a plastic sheet and then carefully drop in hot oil

  • 07

    Deep fry on low heat till golden in colour and keep turning in between

  • 08

    Let them cool completely and then store in air tight container and enjoy endlessly
