Ingredients

Serves : 7
  • Urad daal,Soaked 2 cups


  • Salt,to Taste 1 tbsp


  • Green chillies chopped 2 nos


  • Ginger chopped 1 tbsp


  • Coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cups


  • Curry leaves 4-5 nos


  • Onion, small finely chopped 1 nos


  • Thick curd 4 cups


  • Sev as desired 3/4 cups


  • Boondi as desired 2/3 cups


  • Dates Chutney 1/3 cups


  • Green chutney 1/4 cups


  • Pomegranate seeds 1/2 cups


  • Chat masala 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Soak the dal in enough water for atleast two hours.
  • Grind it into a thick batter by adding little water.
  • Mix in all the ingredients listed under it's preparation.
  • Deep fry these in hot oil on high flame in batches.
  • Keep an eye over them since they are fried on high flame.
  • Whisk the curd with some salt and little water.Do not make it watery.
  • After frying, drop these bhalle in the curd.
  • If desired add some chopped green chillies and coriander too.
  • Now for the assembling, in a serving bowl, add the dahi bhallas and top it up with the chutneys
  • Followed by sev and boondi
  • Followed further by the chat masala and pomegranate seeds.
