Serves : 6
  • 2 cups wheat flour

  • 1/2 cups besan

  • 1 cups nova ghee

  • 1 1/2 cups gud/jeggary chopped

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1 tbsp mixed chopped dry fruits

  • 1 cups nova full cream of milk

  • 1/2 cups nova toned milk

  • 2 tsp poppy seeds/khaskhas


  • In a mixing bowl take wheat flour ,besan
  • Mix well all ingredients properly and knead a tight dough using little milk and keep aside covered for some time
  • Now roll out thick chapatis of ready dough and cook on tawa on low heat
  • When bhakaris or thick chapaties are done from both sides dry roast them directly on flame too (just like phulka)
  • Like that prepare all bhakaris and allow them to cool completely
  • Now in a blender ,take broken bhakaris, jeggary and chopped dry fruits
  • Blend the mixture in to coarse powder
  • Take out the mixture in to mixing bowl and add remaining ghee , mix well and prepare laddus . Sprinkle some poppy seeds on laddus so that it sticks to it.
  • Bhakari laddus are ready to serve
