Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 litre for homemade paneer, we need milk


  • 1 tbsp white vinegar


  • 1 cups for chocolate cake in microwave, we need all purpose flour


  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 2 nos eggs


  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/4 cups oil


  • 3-4 nos strands of saffron soaked


  • 1/2 cups melted chocolate for the ganache(optional)


  • 6-8 nos strawberries

Directions

  • Boil the milk and as soon as it comes to a rolling boil, stir in the vinegar. Switch off the flame.
  • Next is hang it down the sink tap tied in a muslin cloth or keep it on the kitchen counter with some weight on it. Give it atleast 20 mins
  • Later on,knead it with your palm to make it smooth. Add the saffron soaked in a tsp of milk and sugar according to taste.
  • Whisk the eggs sugar oil and vanilla essence until creamy. Fold in the dry ingredients and grease a microwave proof dish.
  • Microwave it on high power for 5 mins in all. That is it. Microwave chocolate cake is ready.
  • Let it cool on the rack. Wait until it is warm. Cut it into heart shapes with a cookie cutter.
  • You can very well bake it in an electric oven on 180° for 20 mins. Remember to preheat it.
  • On one heart slice, spread the paneer generously and cover it up with the other. Spread some ganache on top or no need at all. It is yummy even without it.
  • Garnish with fanned strawberries and serve chilled.
  • This is not only quick but also delicious at the same time. Serve these beautiful hearts with lots of love and warmth.
