Nutella Braided Bread

Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 2 cups plain flour or maida


  • 3 tbsp nova butter


  • 2 nos eggs


  • 1 tbsp yeast


  • 1/2 cups nova toned milk


  • 400 gms nutella


  • 1 nos egg white

Directions

  • Add yeast to the warm milk and let it rise.
  • Mix this in the flour along with all the other ingredients.
  • Make a smooth dough and keep it covered in a dark place. Allow it to rise.
  • After 30 minutes, divide it into 4 parts and roll out this dough into four equal circles.
  • Spread nutella on each and stack on over the other.
  • Take a glass and place it in the centre. Cut it equally into 16 parts. First give it four cuts, then again cut these from the middle to give two. Again cut this into two equal parts. Hence you get 16 parts in all.
  • Holding two portions just twist it clockwise. Pinch them together. Similarly make all, giving it a beautiful flower shape.
  • Lastly take the two twisted portions and pinch them together. Brush it with egg white and bake in a pre heated oven.
  • Bake at 200 degree centigrade for 25 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes of baking, cover with a butterpaper just to prevent it from darkening. This will give a perfectly done braided bread with beautiful golden colour.
