Mix Gram flour and cooking soda with water and keep it aside. Make sure the batter is in flowing consistency.
Now heat oil in a kadai and use a slotted ladle to make boondi. Once the oil is hot enough hold the ladle a lill away from oil .
Take a small amount of batter ( 2 tbsp of batter in a single ladle , select a ladle accordingly ). Now pour on the slotted ladle and gently rub around . The boondi will start to fall. They must be a lill more than half cooked ( don't roast them ). Once done keep stirring. Then remove from oil and keep aside. Finish the entire batter like this.
Now to a thick bottom vessel add sugar , water and cardamon powder . Boil to thicken. Once thick remove from flame and set to cool for around 10 minutes.
Now add the boondi to this sugar Syrup. Heat ghee , wait to melt. Now add cashew, dry grapes and cloves once the cashew turns golden brown add this to the boondi in sugar syrup. Keep mixing them.
Then take a handful of the soaked boondi and hold firm to make small laddoo's of it. Serve it. Happy Diwali to all.
