Palak bunch 1 nos
Green chili 1 nos
Garlic Cloves 1 nos
ginger 1 inch
Butter 2 tbsp
Bay Leaf 1 nos
Onion,finely chopped 1 nos
Tomato,finely chopped 1 nos
Garlic Cloves 1 nos
Turmaric powder 1/4 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
Udupi Ruchi Garam masala Powder 1 tsp
Potato,Boiled 2 nos
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves 2 tsp
Cream 1 tsp
Silver Varakh 1 nos
Directions
Separate the leaves of spinach from the thick stem. Wash and clean the leaves.
Heat a pan and add the washed leaves and cook in medium flame.Cook until the leaves reduce in volume. Once the palak changes its colour immediately add the palak leaves containing ice cold water
Now make a puree of palak adding ginger, and green chilli.keep the palak puree aside.
Making the palak gravy: Heat butter in a pan.Add the cumin seeds and bay leaf.. add the finely chopped onions and garlic.add the finely chopped tomatoes. Fry it transparent
Add the palak pure and stir well.add water as required adjusting the consistency.then add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.simmer for 4-5 minutes. palak has to cook and thicken.stir well and add the boiled potatoes nd add garam masala powder
Cook for a minute or now add a tsp of cream nd chopped coriender mix well nd switch off the Gas.
Garnish with Silver varak nd Cream,Coriender and Serve the Aloo Palak with roti,Salad..
