Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 100 gms whole wheat flour


  • 50 gms rava ( sooji )


  • 50 gms besan flour


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1/2 cups ghee


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Directions

  • Melt ghee and add sugar ( sugar powder preferred )
  • Whisk them both together as you get a smooth and fluffy state.
  • Now mix all the other ingredients to the ghee sugar smooth mix
  • Fridge them for 2 hours
  • Now after 2 hours. Preheat the oven at 170°c.
  • Meanwhile take the dough and make small balls . Flatten the with your palm and with the help of a knife mark a cross in the center .
  • This is to make your cookies bake without any change in the shape and to avoid cracks
  • Now place them on the baking tray .
  • Place them with at least 1 1/2 inch of disctance away from one another.
  • Now bake them at 160°c for 18 to 20 minutes.
  • Once times up. Remove them from the baking sheet and rest them on a cooling rack for about 10-15 minutes
  • Then once they are cool completely. Store them in a airtight container for 2-3 weeks.
  • You can bake them in steamer .
  • Procedure to bake in cooker is.
  • Add a salt bed to the cooker .
  • Then place the cookies on a plate ( something like a plate )
  • Then heat up the cooker without gasket and no whistle.
  • Heat in medium flame for 3-5 minutes.
  • Now once the cooker is hot .place the cookies with the plate in it with the help of a holder.
  • Maintain heat to medium high.
  • Cook for 20 minutes exact.
  • Once time is done. Remove from cooker and cool then completely.
  • The store in a airtight container.
