Ingredients
Serves 3
Whole Wheat Flour 1 cups
Gram flour or besan 1/2 cups
Oil or ghee 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves or parsley chopped 1/2 cups
turmeric 1/4 tsp
Water 1/2 cups
Directions
Make a smooth dough with all the ingredients using water. Leave it aside for 30 mins.
The dough will look like this. Make medium balls out of it and start rolling after 30 mins.
Cook them using ghee or oil on medium to low flame by flipping over when done on one side. Both the sides should be well cooked.
Make all rotis in this way. Serve them hot with a dollop of butter and some raita.
This one is my healthy take on the famous missi roti of Rajasthan. It is a very yummy recipe for diabetic people and they will get the wholesome nourishment and goodness of this fabulous fusion recipe rotis.
Usage of oil can be minimal without compromising on it's taste.
