Put the cooked rice to cool in a plate. The grains should be separate.
Grate the mango.
Take oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, as it crackles, put bengal gram and urad dal. Then add the grounnuts to it. Let cook for sometime. Put the green chilly, turmeric and asafoetida to it. Throw in the curry leaves.
Now, add the grated mango to it. Let cook for sometime.
Remove from fire and keep it aside.
Add the rice to it. Put salt and mix it. Add grated coconut to it.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
